Steps Learning Center supports neurodiverse homeschoolers by offering services that strengthen and support home education. We provide individual and small group tutoring, independent living skills coaching and social-emotional skills development, and access to on-site ABA, OT, and Speech Therapy providers. Families can also use our Empowering Steps specialized curriculum for homebound learning, plus Choice Navigation support to help navigate scholarship funding, and find materials, tools and resources to make home education possible.

Tutoring

We offer flexible tutoring options for neurodiverse children with moderate to significant needs. Sessions include Academic Skills Development, Independent Living Skills Coaching and Social-Emotional Learning Skills Development. Our neuro-affirming approach is ability-centered, progress-based, and grounded in research, empowering every learner to thrive with individualized support and a warm, inclusive community.

Choice Navigation

We guide families through Florida's scholarship and funding process, ensuring every child can access the resources and support they deserve. We offer planning support by supporting families in finding materials, tools, programs and building a solid learning plan for their homeschooling child.

Steps to Empowerment: Homebound Curriculum

A specialized curriculum designed for neurodiverse learners who thrive best at home—offering structure, progress tracking, and ongoing expert support. Our curriculum integrates ELA, Math, Communication, Independent Living and Motor Skills Development Activities that can be adapted to any student’s physical and developmental abilities.

    Academic Tutoring + Independence Coaching

    Academic tutoring is paired with practical skill development (daily living, communication, routines, and community readiness) to support confidence and long-term independence.

    Therapy & Enrichment

    We coordinate with therapy providers for services such as ABA, OT, and Speech. Learners can also participate in enrichment experiences like Art, Gardening, Projects, and sports-based activities in a supportive environment.
